A message from our HR Director
DID YOU KNOW 300+ CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES BENEFIT FROM OUR THERAPEUTIC SERVICES IN THOMAS, COLQUITT, BROOKS, DECATUR, GRADY, AND MITCHELL COUNTIES?
Here, We Grow!
It’s an exciting time at Vashti. In the past 60 days, we’ve hired more than 20 professionals who want to help us serve our children and families. For 20+ years, as a member of the team, I have witnessed incredible success stories, and I wanted to take a moment to share with you about what’s happening behind-the-scenes:
RAPID PROGRAM EXPANSION REQUIRES A STRONG CULTURE
WE NEED TEAM BUILDING + HR SOFTWARE + TECHNOLOGY TRAINING
We’re constantly growing, and we care for the most underserved children in southwest Georgia who otherwise would not have access to behavioral and mental health services, drug addiction therapy or medication management. As we continue to grow we need highly-credentialed therapists who want to establish a career with us and stay long term. They are dedicated and want to make an impact. Therefore, we want to match their dedication to our children with our continued commitment to their edification. We want to provide opportunities for growth and training in order for our staff to be the best they can be to serve our youth and families with great needs.
Consequently, it’s time to enhance our HR software platform capabilities to the next level. This would allow us to support the number of applicants and hiring process, including security clearance for all team members. The nature of our work here, at Vashti, is founded on safety. To ensure the safety of our students, families, and team, it is imperative that our staff participates in appropriate training courses. Equally, we want to foster a work that is nourishing and welcoming to all members of our team. Naturally, these endeavors have become a top priority for us.
We reached a milestone of 70 employees in June 2024.
ABOVE & BEYOND NORMAL CARE
Our team goes above and beyond to handle every detail of our children’s managed care, including driving them to their appointments and ensuring they get the attention and services they need to grow and heal through trauma-informed care.
Not only do our youth need the highest level of service to manage their delicate and complex situations, our professional team members need to recharge and refresh their batteries too.
Behavioral and mental health care in all capacities can be difficult even for our trained experts to carry emotionally too. It is our goal to provide support for our team members as well and we would love your support in that area if you feel called to assist our people caring for our children. They’ll give you hugs for showing your support and encouragement.
Thank you for nurturing our human resources too. I appreciate you.
Sincerely,
Tammy Harris
HR Director
