Pavilion, Picnic Area and Painting Refresh
When: Call to Schedule
Time: Call to Schedule
Where: 1815 E Clay Street, Thomasville, GA (Park behind Remur Young or in front of Bishop Hall)
At the Vashti Center, we believe that every space on our campus has the potential to promote healing, connection, and growth. Our Pavilion is one of those special places—a gathering spot for our youth, team, and community to come together, find peace, and enjoy the outdoors.
To ensure that this area remains welcoming and beautiful for our Fall event season, we’re focused on refreshing our Pavilion and Freedom Memorial.
Here’s what we’ll be working on:
- Sweeping and cleaning the pavilion
- Scrubbing the bathroom facilities
- Weeding around the pavilion and freedom memorial areas
- Revitalizing the kitchen area’s original cast iron and sink
- Sealing holes in screens
- Pressure washing areas
- Fixing holes in wood
- Replacing drywall in bathroom (small section only)
- Organizing debris to prepare for hauling
- Painting Adirondack chairs
- Burning small debris in fire pit
Whether you’re handy with a broom, have a green thumb, or just want to lend a hand with your nifty tools, we’d love to have you join us! Every bit of help makes a big difference in keeping our campus beautiful and ready for the upcoming season to share experiences in community.
