Behavioral Counseling Services Provide Treatment for Children in Crisis
We firmly believe that healthy families lead to healthy communities. This commitment has inspired us in our work aiding children and youth who are currently living with behavioral health struggles. As a mission we want to be a beacon of faith, hope, and healing while working with these children as well as their families and guardians to ensure the brightest possible futures for the kids of the counties we provide services in. Youth in our Residential (Room, Board & Watchful Oversight Program receive care from our therapy team too.
With offices located in Thomasville and Bainbridge, we offer a full complement of behavioral health services to eligible children and youth ages 5-17.
Services Include:
Our dedicated team goes above and beyond to advocate for the adolescents we serve, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to make significant strides in their development and psychological well-being. As they navigate challenges, we equip them to establish healthier coping mechanisms, and essential communication and life skills.
As a part of a continuum of care, Vashti also has an Afterschool Resiliency Clubhouse that serves Thomas County. This program for youth is designed to provide a comprehensive and unique set of services for children and families coping with the isolation, stigma, and other challenges of mental health disorders. The clubhouse program provides supportive services that include educational supports, employment services, peer support, family engagement, social activities, and other initiatives geared to engage youth and assist them in managing behaviors and symptoms.
